PC manufacturer Acer Computers has unveiled their latest entertainment notebook called the AS8940G-6865. Just in time for the holiday season, the Windows 7 Home Premium touting Acer laptop comes with a Core i7 Quad-Core 720QM Intel Processor and an 18.4-inch HD widescreen CineCrystal LED-backlit display which is backed by an NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250M GPU.
Designed for high end performance, the Acer laptop brings with it 4GB DDR3 RAM, Blu-ray drive, 5400 RPM 500GB SATA hard drive, 802.11 a/b/g/Draft-N wireless support, a 5 speaker Acer CineSurround Sound System along with other goodies.
Pricing for the new units start at $1,349 and go up depending upon options selected.
