Scrabble has reached a milestone, celebrating it’s diamond anniversary, sixty years since it’s inception. To commemorate this occasion, Hasbros Inc has unveiled SCRABBLE: Swarovski Encrusted Board Edition. This gorgeous one of a kind glass game board features 30,000 Swarovski crystals. The board is fully hand crafted and the sequencing of the crystals on the board matches the color sequencing seen on the original game board.
The Swarovski Encrusted Board Edition is a one of a kind, there will be no more. The board is being auctioned through Ebay with the auction end date set as October 30, 2008. What makes this milestone even better is all money that is raised will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a more then worthy cause.
