Its been a long standing rumor that the Apple tablet was on the way and one of the many questions raised was why it has taken so long for Apple to release their tablet considering the plethora of tablet devices commercially available.
The Apple rumors continue up to this day with the latest being that Apple has asked select application developers to ensure that their software works on screen sizes larger then the 320×480 currently present on the iPhone. The reason being that Apple has been quietly preparing their Tablet PC with a possible announcement in January 2010. According to BGR sources, it is almost a certainty that there will be a 7-inch tablet and this may be in addition to the 10-inch rumored tablet to come. It’s not long before we will be ringing in the New Year and it will be interesting to see what Apple has in store.
