Survey Says 45% Of Tablet Buyers Not Impressed With Kindle Fire

There are a number of choices with varying features and options through which a consumer must wade through while making their decision as to which device to buy. One of these devices is the Kindle Fire HD which was launched by Amazon this year.

A recent survey conducted of 2,103 users revealed that from this group of users, 45% considered themselves “unimpressed” by Amazon’s Android tablet. The survey was undertaken by CouponCodes4U and of course, the results can’t be viewed as good news for Amazon. When the results were further broken down and these unimpressed users asked just why they don’t like the device, nearly half of them wanted a bigger screen tablet.

In addition to this, the second biggest complaint against this tablet was its features which some felt did not compare to other tablets on the market. Finally, 11% of those surveyed also felt a lack of third party apps was a strike against it.

There were some other interesting results that came out of this tablet. As has been speculated for months, the iPad mini will make its debut soon and when those polled were asked to compare the two, only 39% felt the Kindle would be interesting when the iPad mini arrives. In fact, a 54% would move over to the iOS tablet while just 7% would look at both devices.
