In the treasure chest of information that continues to come out through the Apple vs Samsung court case, we are learning today that Samsung still has intentions on launching a 11.8-inch tablet computer before the end of this year.
This information came out through court documents that were discovered by the website The Verge. From what is being revealed, it’s believed that this tablet will have a display whose screen resolution will be on par with the industry leader, the Apple iPad. This 11-inch tablet is something that Samsung has been been working on for quite a number of months. Originally, it was believed that the tablet would launch in Spring 2012 but due to circumstances, this did not take place. Still, the tablet has not been permanently shelved but rather delayed and as such, we are still seeing the device on this years roadmap.
Keeping with Samsung news, it’s also believed that the Korean company will be coming out with a Galaxy Note 10.1 launch date within the next 14 days. This device is said to be similar to the Galaxy Note phone that customers can pick up on either the T-Mobile or AT&T networks. The Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet has also seen its share of delays, but in this case, Samsung’s objectives were to improve the hardware specifications so that they could be more competitive with the iPad.
